Mermaid Tenement Press is a non-profit small press based in New York City that seeks to discover and document new innovative poetry, founded by Laura Hinton and Vickers Gringo in 2008. Laura Hinton continues to edit its Tout Court Editions chapbook series, which is devoted to the publication of performance poetries in collaboration with visual artists. Authors include Lee Ann Brown, Abigail Child, and Bruce Andrews. These Tout Court Edition chapbooks are printed on fine line- and cotton-fiber papers, in an 8" X 5 1/4" staple-bound format. Each has an original art cover.
